CMT TOUR UPDATE!!!!

So it's the 5th show into the tour and MAN am I having a great time!!!

We've already got enough road stories and good laughs to last a life time... The drive from Kelowna to Edmonton was ABSOLUTELY BREATH TAKING!!!! I'll post photo's as soon as I get a chance..

Every city we've been in has been so amazing and accommodating..

The clubs and theater's have been so responsive and I feel soooo lucky and blessed to be a part of the very first " CMT TOUR".

So today is the first day i've been able to chill, and not have to rush around for sound checks and meet and greets , it's kinda been a little nuts...but I LOVE IT!... Our next stop is North Battleford,Saskatchewan .... I've never been before so I'm pretty excited... Every single person that i've met so far has been AWESOME and truly inspiring.... MAN I love what I do....

Well, stay lucky and i'll be blogging more as the tour unfolds..

So yesterday, I went deep sea fishing for the first time in the Florida Keys…

It was AMAZING! A lot of people were telling me I was most likely going to get sea sick , and that kinda freaked me out a little, BUT I didn't...in fact it was sooo cool. At one point we were reeling in a fish and a shark was trying to eat it at the same time. The closer the fish got, the closer the shark got to the boat. It was truly an experience of a lifetime. Today The Rooftop Cafe is hosting a dinner where we get to eat all the fish we caught. They are also giving out rewards for the biggest fish, smallest fish, ect. I'll keep you all posted if I win anything…anyway, I’m off to the beach for a while before I go see another show…

So today was our third day of shooting for the online videos and the crew had scouted out an awesome location, it was a run down motel on the out skirts of Nashville. It was run by a Middle Eastern family that had moved to the U.S two years prior. They were extremely helpful to us.

We were just getting ready to shoot the scene when I saw a boy outside of the motel room window. He looked well dressed and had a very curious look on his face. Once I finished the shot I went outside to see if he was still there and sure enough, he was.

We started to chat a little and he started telling me he was really into writing his own stories. I asked him if he'd ever wanted to write a song, and his face LIT UP!! What happened next was INCREDIBLE!!!! Watch and you'll see!!

Hey,

Today was an amazing day, for A LOT of reasons. It was one of the longest days I've ever had, but it was SOOOO fun! Being in front of the camera is harder than I thought. It wasn’t because I was nervous, but because I could not stop laughing at myself. I just know there are going to be some hilarious out takes. I didn’t know what to expect before I met my film crew/production team, I was hoping they were as goofy as me and it turns out, I was right. They were so easy to work with, and gave great direction. They were so professional, yet casual which made the whole day seem like I was hanging out with friends. I was a little unsure about the filming location until I saw the set on the playback monitor. All I could think was, WOW. It was at an old rehearsal space called “Vortex of Love.” I know what you’re thinking, but don't. LOL! I can't wait for all of you to see the videos and share them with your friends. I am SOOOOO tired, so I am off to bed.
